This session is one of my very favorite sessions this year. I have been photographing this family since Will was a newborn – almost 5 years ago. I had known Ryan since high school, but didn’t meet Patty until Will’s newborn session. They have gone from clients to friends and they are always one of those sessions that I look forward to every single year.
I cannot tell you how perfect these two are for each other. Their personalities mesh so seamlessly and a bit of those personalities are each in Will and Liv. It might sound silly, but these four just “click.” They are loving and fun and full of life and it comes through so easily in the photos. Their love literally jumps out of the photos.
As a photographer, my goal is always to capture your family as you truly are. Not the “every one sit and say cheese” version, but the version where you’re playing and interacting and loving each other. I want it to be natural and unforced and I want it to come across that way in the photos. I want your kids to hug each other and good around with one another. If they want to dance (as you see below), I want to capture that. If they want to be silly, I want to give you a photo of that. This family makes it so dang easy.
