I'm an Indiana girl who married an incredibly handsome Minnesota man who can rock a bow tie like no one else. I've been married 13 years & live in the Hoosier state with our four perfectly imperfect children, Charlie (10), Louie (9), Jack (7) and Annie (5). i have horrific eyesight. without my glasses or contacts i only see colors & shapes.
my husband & i never lived in the same state until we were married. he was in Minnesota & i was in indiana.
i am a purdue university graduate with a degree in communications.

My style is different than most. I refuse to create images of your family sitting awkwardly together, smiling stiffly at the camera or of your newborn so uncomfortably posed that they look like they're in pain. That's not your child. Your family is crazy unique - has its own vibe. There is no other newborn in the world like yours. I want to capture all of that.
I want to give you images of your family laughing, playing, snuggling & even crying. That is your life. THAT is what you want to remember 20 years from now.
I've spent a decade investing in my craft & learning proper posing & safety techniques to ensure your newborn looks comfortable, relaxed & safe. The focus is on their perfection. Not on a strange pose or a giant flower & tutu.
Family sessions are not stiff & awkward. They are fun, relaxed & enjoyable. We smile at the camera a couple times & then you get to do what you do best - love on your family.
